    Computer Management

Did you open Computer Management and view the Volume there?
< Left mouse click on 'My Computer'
< Right mouse click on pop down menu 'Manage'
< Left mouse click on 'Disk Management'
< Left click drive in question
< Left click 'Action' from the pop down menu 'All Tasks' then select 'Format'
    Hope this Helps :)
Edit You can corrupt 'flash drives' by simply not using the Windows disconnect tool or not shutting down Windows prior to removing the drive (they are HOT connectible but not HOT dis-connectible)

Stick the stick in a freezer lock bag and place that stick in the bag in the freezer for 24 hours. Then try it again. If the second post doesn't solve your issue.

    It may refer to this:
Go to properties of the file, uncheck the "read only".
