cant detect access point

  1. mr_newbie Newcomer, in training

    in Belkin AP Manager, it says "Scanning AP" but does not detect the AP device once the scan is complete.
    I can however connect to the AP manually by choosing "Connect AP" and entering the IP Address. So why wont it detect the AP automatically?

    My laptop cant detect the AP either so i am unable to network it.

    Note: i have tried resetting the device, and updating firmware. The AP model is Belkin F5D6130

    yeah the SSID is already set to accept all

    ive managed to detect the AP on the computer, but my laptop still cant locate it.

    Any ideas?
