Can't get Duplicate Cleaner to work, any other good free ones?

XP sp3, several security apps (Avira, SUPER Antispyware, Malware bytes, Secunia, Online Armor (am getting tired of answering all the pop up questions from this that
really don't tell me any details so I know what I'm allowing).

Did a little search, found Duplicate Cleaner on CNet downloads, 5 star rating.

Downloaded, scanned the exe file with all my malware apps, installed it.

Just can't get it to work - stalls at various points - besides literally crawling along
at an abysmally slow pace. When I make an activity selection, I may as well
walk away and do something else for several minutes until it responds.

But it always locks up before it actually does anything.

I need a free one - been laid off awhile.

Is the one in Downloads here any good?

Duplicate Cleaner works fine.

There is some other reason for the stalling, crawling etc.

Too many anti-virus & anti-spyware slow the system down.

Maybe it is conflicting with the other software you are using maybe try removing one of them.
