Can't move my mouse, but computer is not frozen

  1. :( something similar happend to me, I was first blocked out of my desktop, but now I am able to see the desktop, just that I cant move my mouse, how do I rebboot

    Press the power button, Windows will initiate a shutdown.

    Or use the keyboard through the use of the Win Key, Tab, and Num keys. Win Key will bring up the Start Menu, then use Tab and Num keys to navigate the options.

    If you reboot into BIOS, can you use the mouse?
    Also, can you boot into safe mode?
  5. Mouse not working in safe mode and also normal mode. it works in UEFI bios.

    I had this problem before with my IBM. Don't know why. I found out that it contains virus passed on to my PC. Reformatted it and everything's lost. Such a waste of files. Then I switch to vpn to be more safe.
