Cant open a file on my computer

    Hi
    every time i go to my computer and open a file i get a message come up saying Windows Explorer has encountered a problem an needs to close. this then is in the further information then a log is appears iv tried restoring my computer and run anti malware, spy bot, Avira, and Trojan remover. any help would be gladly appreciated
    modname:mcmpeg4vdc.dllin. Please help
