I have a laptop that crashed. I pulled the hard drive out (which is still good) and connected it via a usb bridge to my acer laptop. The first time I connected it, it worked fine and I was able to see all the files. It got disconnected and when I reconnected it, the computer no longer detects it, any suggestions?

How did you disconnect it? Did you use the "safely remove hardware" action? And do any other computers recognize the drive?

Yeah I used the "safely remove hardware" action. Other computers also recognized it when first connected, but not when it was connected a second time. After attempting to reconnect and safely disconnect mulitiple times, it just started working, so I think I have it for now, but it is not consistant.
