Hard drive 160GB I just repartitioned from 14Gb to 75. reinstalled files and at the end it went into a continuous loop of BIOS>Wind XP screen>BIOS open (selected) normal booting and or latest well performing reboot> restart>back to BIOS. I reinserted the memory flash, tried the floppy disc, cleaned the fan, took the menory cards (4) out vacuumed the slots and reinserted them, NOTHING worked so far.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.

How did you partition the drive?... Sounds like you need to insert a Windows XP cd, boot from it, repartition the drive and reinstall Windows.

Hi Fastco, No CD came with this PC. Instructed to get it via Back or Restore Wizard. I did -using 2 DVDs. Now I insert disc one and it does not open- nothing happens.

Is the computer set to boot from the CD/Optical drive as first device in the bios?

Hi Bios shows 1st boot device in parenthesis (blocked) is SM-SONY DVD RW.
2nd. boot device is 1st floppy drive.
    3rd. boot device is PM-WDC WD160BB.
i SUPPOSE i NEED TO enable 1st boot device ? or make the 3 rd device the primary boot device?

    Hi Fastco
I made the PM-WDC WD 160BB the 1st boot device, however it remains in parenthesis which says it is blocked. I cannot find the way to ENABLE IT. Is this what I need? to enable this boot device?
