Cant restart "no error messages"

    Hello everyone I checked all the "cant restart" but nothing over there helped me, I formatted my pc and I dont have alot of software on it yet other than original games, so yesterday everything was going fine, i wakeup today and i try to shut down my pc from the start menu but nothing happends, no error messages, no wierd behaviour no nothing... what can I do about that?

    Do you have Service Pack 2 installed? SP2 fixed a problem with Windows not shutting down/restarting.
