Can't uninstall AVG 2011

I can't uninstall AVG 2011 no matter what I use. Even the AVG's page removal tool doesn't work.
Can I ask the forum members for help?

Nothing. Just sat there and did nothing in every uninstall I tried.

No problem. Hmm. Try uninstalling another program. If that uninstall fails there may be a problem with your hard drive. If that uninstall succeeds, then you are not giving the AVG uninstaller enough time to uninstall.

What link did you use to get the AVG uninstaller ? Is this it ? http://www.avg.com/us-en/utilities

Reboot into safe mode, use the AVG removal tool again.

If not, delete all program files, download Ccleaner, clean registry.

No, there is no 2011 reference. I went to the AVG site and asked "Jean" or "Joan" (a link for questions)

Iobit stuff is filled with malware and is largely ineffective. I would check your PC for malware. Run the one from the AVG site, it doesnt have to refer to the program directly. It is made to just delete files under the name AVG.
