Case window mod idea!

Update, i have the R cut. Its still rough as i need to do a fair bit of filing and sanding but im well chuffed at how it looks already.

Another update, i have cut the TS letters out, they are very rough as yet and need a lot of sanding and polishing but I'm well pleased with how they look. It's taking time, but it's getting there.

Cool - what did you cut the letters from?

I cut them from a scrap piece of perspex that a friend got hold of. I think it came from some old vending machine of some kind.

I have decided to make a small change to my reservoir plans. I'm no longer going to put it in the 3 floppy bays, instead, I'm going to fit a fan there and convert behind that area into a hard drive bay. I will make a larger reservoir in my 2 spare 5.25" bays instead.

Update, grrrrrr, i hate filing!!!

Cool, i will do plenty of pics as soon as its complete.
I will try to borrow something that takes better pictures than my cheapo web cam.

It may be a while tho, the filing is taking much longer than I expected and i have run out of sandpaper and don't have any money to get any more at the mo.

To date, this mod has cost absolutely nothing as i have been using tools and materials that i have had for some time.

Update, thanks to a little help from a drop dead gorgeous friend of mine, i now have a suitable file and the work should progress a lot faster.

need an update - nothing seen for nearly two weeks!

Wish i was, its just that the filing it taking forever and a day. and then some!!

The progress i have made so far isnt worth doing a pic of as my cheapo webcam probably wont show much if any of a difference.


I could post a pic of my friend that spotted the file but i dont think she'd be too happy about it lol.

Any pics that are not of PCs or PC bits would be a break!
