Catalyst Control Center: Host application has stopped working

  1. Hello, I keep receiving this message: "Catalyst Control Center: Host application has stopped working" everytime my computer is turned on and I have to click cancel and then click to close the program. I have ran Malwarebyes Anti-Malware, AVG scan and it came back with several infected files which I have removed. However the issue still remains... can someone please help me!!

    Have you tried uninstalling the video software and reinstalling it? It may very well be corrupt. Due to the virus or spyware you stated you had.

    Well I dont know where I can go to re-install it and I just put this software on here after the error had been occuring

    Go to the programs and features in the control panel.You should be able to uninstall the program there. If you are on Xp it will be add and remove programs in the control panel. You will find the control panel on the start menu.You can go to AMD website after and have it auto scan your computer for the proper drives.
