  1. Me and a friend want to do some recording and commentating on xbox games we play, for youtube. We dont need 1080p (720p is nice, 480P is fine if its CHEAP). I have no video outputs on the monitor im using, so I would need some way to split an HDMI cable (which exist as far as I know). It can be an internal or external solution (I was planning on my own desktop build, but I would rather get a cheap external one right now so I can hold off the build until holiday sales). I just want to know whats out there...I think I can afford 75 bucks for a complete solution. its not much, I just want to know if theres anything.

Thanks! is it risky to purchase open box components? almost as if it didnt work for someone so they just returned it?

True, but the box might have been opened for demonstration purposes. For the money you save it may be worth the risk.
