    Let's see. 1.3 billion people vs. 300 million. Huh...imagine them buying more PC's! ;)
  4. It'd be nice if they could also count people who built their own computer, by tracking the tower sales, in with this info and put a footnote to say the % that were tower sales (assuming you buy a tower and everything else to make a pc, instead of just buying towers.)

Yeah, with more than a billion people, no **** Sherlock.

What I'm more surprised at, is at the fact it took them this long to overtake the American market.

Well, to be fair -- sure, China has about 1.3 billion. On the other hand, roughly 250,000,000 of those are truly living the American dream in China. The rest live on about a buck a week or something ridiculous like that.

And on the OTHER other hand, sure -- they ought to be able to overtake EVERY market on the planet.

They build ALL of the PCs in the world. Shipping is free in Shanghai!

    :)
  9. It's funny how American's say that it's all because of the fact that they have 1.3 billion people, yet with 1001 other things they like to claim to be the best country in something, but totally ignoring the fact that they are way bigger with 310 million than any European country. Hypocrites...sigh
  10. PC ... wasn't it "The 30 year-old Technology ?"

    Surprise it still survive !

In other news, Microsoft reported it had licensed 3 copy's of Windows 7 in China during this same period of time.

  12. What OS did the Chinese use in place of Windows-7?
