Have new hard drive. Want to use it with Drive Image for network backups. There should be nothing on the drive, I just formatted it. But chkdsk says the volumn is in use by another process. I don't get this message on the other drives, that are on this computer. Is this a problem? How can I find the process?

If you have just formated it, it prolly has a letter assigned to it. Go to Computer Management -> Storage -> Disk Management. Remove the letter assigned to the partition & then you can run a CheckDisk without problems. Once you're done, reassign the letter it had.
