Looking for the best headphones for gaming and music... Noise canceling preferred so I can use them in a work environment also. Planning on spending no more than $100. Don't need a mic I can just use a separate one.
    What do you guys think?
    Thanks!

I'm considering using a few more dollars to get the Audio-Technica ATH-A700's, hmm what do you guys think.

I have been using some HD202s for about 2 years now and they seem pretty good for games for the price (24 to 40 USD). The HD 201s are also pretty good but have almost no base so gunshots and explosions don't sound very good.

If you really want to get the most bang for your buck you might try asking on head fi. They focus almost solely on headphones and I think they even have some kind of event every year where they all bring their equipment and try each others stuff out.
