CiD pop ups

please can anyone help. i have started getting CiD pop ups. i do have mcafee but its still got in. would be greatful for any help. i'm abit of a novice !

Skip no steps (do not install another virus scanner if you already have one, ask me before installing a Firewall).

Most importantly update MalwareBytes and SuperAntiSpyware!

Thanks for your help. I did some further reading & discovered that Messenger live plus is sponsered by CiD. My partner confessed to downloading messenger live plus. So was able to sucessfully remove the programme & fingers crossed no further pop ups! Hooray
