Cisco VPN AnyConnect issue: The VPN client was unable to setup IP filtering

I just started getting this error today. I thought it was due to some malware I had gotten but the malware forum tech support said everything looks fine. I get this message right as my VPN is about to authenticate. Can anyone help? This is driving me up the wall!

this has happened with multiple machines on my network after running combofix to remove rootkit.rena.
If you ran combofix it should have backed up your TCP/IP settings from the registry.
The error happens because the DHCP settings are incorrect or have been removed from a registry entry.
