Cloning HDD

I need to clone my new hard drive but want a dual device for sata and pata here is a pic of my new HDD the one on the left

Is the computer a desktop computer? If so, you should be able to connect the PATA drive to the IDE channel and the original SATA drive should still be set as the boot drive. Download and install Western Digitals install software and follow the instructions for adding a new hard drive

Those look like laptop drives. What you'll need to do is get an external enclosure for one of them and put one back into the laptop. I use Acronis True Image to clone the drives but there are other products.

Notebook

It is, in fact, a notebook drive. I caught the model # on the WD drive and found out what type it was.
