    hey guys

    i've got a mate (really? you got a mate?)....and he has a

    E6600 C2D
    MSI 7600GS
    Gigabyte 965P-S3
    3G RAM
    550W no-name Brand (yeah,he's risking it)

anyway his problem is that he's got a legit copy of COD4. He wants to play online and tries to get the 1.4 patch and it claims that he doesnt have the legit copy. So now he cant play online. And he's gone to the store, changed the cd and still the same...

Anyone here got any tips and tricks?
    Cheers

run virus/spyware scan, remove blacklisted programs such as daemon tools etc.
