Compaq gray screen

    I have a compaq f700 laptop. When the laptop gets hot the LCD monitor goes gray. When I plug it into a monitor the computer is working fine but the screen stays gray. I need to find an inexpensive fix.

    Clean it out... probably has dust and lint in the cpu fan and elsewhere... remove the keyboard, and other parts will snap out, then use Dust Off or Clean Safe Dust Remover to clean all air channels.... Do NOT use a vacuum cleaner or other untreated air.
