Can somebody advice me, what went wrong with my laptop?
I properly shutdown the system, then the following morning I turned it on, my keybaord and stationary pad is no longer working? Can somebody tell me what it causes its malfunction?

Hard to say, it could be a driver issue, windows update that caused the devices to, for some reason, stop responding.

Are you are you able to connect an external mouse/keyboard to the laptop and check Device Manager for a Yellow Exclamation mark or red X's.

    To Check Device Manager:
Go to Start, right click My Computer. From the dropdown menu select Manage.
From the new window that pops up go to Device Manager on the left hand side. When the right hand side finishes loading check to see if there are any yellow exclamation marks or red X's. (Mainly under the Keyboard/Mouse headings)
