Compaq Presario Screen going in and out

I have a Compaq Presario 3000 and if moved or shaked and sometimes nothing the screen will start going in and out like its blinking and in start up it will beep like normal I don't know if it overheats or what but plz help it has windows xp I know its old but plz help. BTW I am wrighting on my home computer so plz help

There is probably a pinched or loose wire in or around the LCD panel or top hinges
