Compaq Presario SR1265SCL Restore issue

Compaq Presario SR1265SCL Restore issue. When I try to take the PC into the F10 restore I get the error: STOP: c0000221 unknown Error \systemRoot\system\ntdll.dll. Can anybody tell me if the restore partition is damaged?

You could try doing a Chkdsk through the recovery console on your Windows CD and also try a Fixmbr. Are you unable to boot Windows and is this the reason for wanting to do a Recovery or has something else gone wrong?
