Compatability issues?

    Hey guys,

I'll just skip straight into it I think. So, I've purchased Sims 2, purely for a nostalgia trip, it seems to work straight away after the installation process despite the following message: "This program has known compatability issues".

Once I close the game and I follow the same procedure as when first installed (that is clicking on the "run program" option when the compatability issue warning comes up) it won't run and, instead, comes up with there being an unspecified error.

I understand there could be compatability issues as I'm using a macbook pro with a partitioned hardrive running windows 7. However, I don't understand why it would have worked one but never again unless I reinstall it, and open it up straight away after the installation.

    I'll appreciate any helpful responses,

    Many thanks,

    Skynet
