computer boot

when i sstart my computer up it goes to the widows xp loading screen then it reboots and it keeps doing that. I plugged my old hard drive in and my computer started perfectly so its not my motherboard. Wat can i do to resolve this problem?

I also checked my bios evrything looks good nothing changed.

Can you try F8 and boot into safe mode? If yes see if you have auto reboot on error turned on in Right Click on MY Computer/properties/Advanced/Start-up.

If not then can you boot into the repair console from the WinCD (need to set Bios to boot cd 1st). Try a fixMBR in the recovery console.
