So... Im working on a computer build for under $800, if i can, ill try to bring it down to under $700.

What do you guys think? is there any way i could save money somewere withought really a performance reduction? Should i go AMD maybe? ive always liked intel but for a cheep build, i hear AMD is the way.

I will be buying stuff like DVD drive from a local store and already have my OS.

Does anyone know of any combo deals that would help with just slight modifications to the parts? I didn't get ANY with these. :(

Without looking at their detailed specifications on Intel's site, from what I can see the E**00 versions have 2MB of L2 cache, and the E**20 versions have 4MB of L2 cache.

WTF!? OH NOEZ! There must be between 800 and 1000 cases on Newegg, pick another :).

    oh ok.

Its just that it makes no sense that they discontinued it!!

heh oh ok do you know of any cases with good ventelation?

To be fair, nearly any case can be turned into a case with decent ventilation with the addition of fans etc. If you're still looking to spend around the same amount, take a look at the "Enermax Uber Chakra". It appears to be a high quality case with great ventilation.

Yes it does except that it is HUGE!!!. Also its a bit too expensive and really overkill for this build which i changed to under $700. Preferably in the low 600's or high 500's.
