Computer constantly freezing shortly after start up sometimes with a blue screen

  1. Recently my computer has been freezing almost as soon as it starts up to maybe just over an hour after, no virus's have shown up on scans done. I have absolutely no idea why it is doing this. Please help!

    Test the hard drive by going to computer, and right-click on the C drive. Select Properties, tools, check now. Put a check mark in the 2 boxes to set a check on the next start up

    I'm not really the greatest computer-smarts person, and I don't pretend to be, but it seems that definitely did something and I've had no crash or freezes since the test. So if that's all I had to do thank you! :)
