okay after turning computer on and a few minutes go by i hear a loud clicking sound then computer will freeze and then shut down and reboot its self over and over and wont read the ide hard drive then get a system32 error i tried everything i know so far so if you have any suggestion i would appreciate it very much

It sounds like you hard drive is on its way out, how old is it. however it is possible that is has just found a few corrupt sectors. I would try running "chkdsk /f". That will hopefully find and correct any errors.

To run chekdisk you need to get a command prompt, I find the easiest way to do that is to boot norton ghost from floppy, when you exit you have the command prompt. Just change the drive letter and away you go.
