Computer freezes on games

    when i try to play tf2 i get like 5 steps out of the spawn area and my computer freezesz and the audio keeps looping. i have my settings set to the lowest. what can i do ??? i have an msi cr600 running a pentium dual core at 2.0mhz and 3 gigs of ram. it has a geforce 8200m g graphics.
