    hello,

i think i have a virus and need a solution.

in the beginning i was just getting pop ups and my computer was running more slowly than usual. then when i tried to do a system restore and a virus scan using mcafee it wouldn't let me the programs always shut down or wouldn't run. now, the screen has enlarged drastically for no apparent reason when it does run. the past few times i have tried to boot it up it won't even display anything once it gets to the screen. just my background. i get this error message

The instruction at "ox0100763b" referenced memory at "0xfffffff" the memory could not be read.

do any of you have any idea what i could do to fix this problem????

You do have symptoms of malware. Malware can prevent updating and scanning with security programs as well as affect the desktop display.

    Please follow the Steps HERE

When you have finished, attach the three logs with your next reply and a TechSpot Helper will review the logs.

If you cannot boot into Normal, boot into Safe Mode by tapping the F8 key AFTER the logo loads, BEFORE Windows starts to load. Best to use Normal Mode if you can.
