  1. Hi,

I hope someone out there can help me, whenever I use my computer it always crashes without warning, when it restarts, it gives me the following error code:

    BCCode : 9c BCP1 : 00000000 BCP2 : F7723050 BCP3 : B2000000
    BCP4 : 1040080F OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 3_0 Product : 256_1

Can anyone explain how I can resolve this problem, or should I start shopping for a new machine.

    Please help me......

    Click start-->Run--> c:\windows\Minidump

Then Attach [IMG] the latest Minidump(s) to a new reply

Minidumps can help determine what specifically is the fault
In most cases, users need to confirm that all device drivers (or Computer, or Motherboard drivers) are up to date

    Hmm, that's a strange one

It says the CD drive faulted playing World of Warcraft
I've seen so many WOW faults, I've now concluded that this must be the worst programmed game ever

    Not sure what to say.
    Uninstall WOW
And possibly check for any driver updates to your CD\DVD Drive

    That's all, I know :)

    Thanks...

I will see if that helps...many thanks for your help.

My computer does randomly crash when playing other games though its not just WOW, do you think this could be the Drive causing the problems....??

Oh...just remembered that WOW is saved on my hard drive....there is no disc in the CD Drive....

    I doubt it (presently)

As I said, seen too many of these wow issues now

The easiest option is to uninstall it
Otherwise this thread will grow to 20 or 30 posts, and may take a few days !!

    It's still wow
