Computer keeps crashing

When i try to burn a dvd video my machine keeps crashing and when i burn files to disc it works but i have to restart in order to burn another disc. I reformatted it yesterday and still it persists. been using nero and roxio.

Uninstall Roxio completely.

Then try.

OR, if you have InCD installed, uninstall it first, then try, then Roxio, etc.

Sounds like conflict.

Does the bsod happen with the Windows burner?

Since reformatting i've only installed Roxio. It burns files to dvd no problem. but when trying a dvd video it shuts down. it's strange some times in the middle and sometimes just before the burning process begins. Oh it's not over heating and the drive seems to be perfect.
