Computer keeps restarting without warning.

I have just recently upgraded my graphics card to a Radeon 9700 from a Nvidia geforce ti4600 , the problem I am having is on the odd occasion usualy when running a demanding game the computer will restart without warning. Can anyone offer a possible explanation?

Yea I had that with my old computer, it was a pain because i never got enough time to try and fix if because it would always just randomly restart. So i bought a new computer lol sorry this is kinda pointless

Have you updated your motherboard's chipset drivers and bios?

How many watts is your power supply rated at and what brand is it?

I will get all the information as soon as possible I cant remember off hand the power supply and im at work atm. The motherboard is an MSI KT4V motherboard and I do think i need to get the newest board drivers as ive not long reinstalled everything from scratch after a hard drive format. ill post back as soon as im back from work
