Computer powers off when computer is coming out of sleep?

Recently I have been noticing that sometimes when my computer is in sleep mode and I wake it up, it powers off. Also, sometimes when I wake it up, i just get a black screen with no picture, but my computer is running. When its not having these problems, sometimes it comes out of sleep mode just fine. It appears like it has been experiencing these issues after I installed my Solid State Drive. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance for your help.

Sounds like a driver issue but there isn't a lot of information to make even a solid guess. Do you get any Blue Screens?

What happens if you don't allow the system to go to sleep?

No blue screens, no other issues whatsoever. Other than that one issue my computer works great. Any ideas?

Was your system running a different OS at one time?

The HDD was the only change in my system in quite some time. I installed the newest firmware for my SSD drive. Hopefully this will take care of the problem. Thanks for the help.
