Computer Problem - Freezing

    Hi all.

    Im having an issue with my computer... it is randomly freezing while playing and lisning to music.
    It started happening some time ago but it could be only coincidense but now its becoming impossible.

    Today while i was seeing a movie from my favorite serie it freezed 3 times... the symtoms begins like the sound stops and 5 secs later puff FREEZE but it unfreezes if i.wait like 3~5 mins and it comes back to life....

    My Computer Specs are thease:

    CPU:Core i7 920 @2.66 Default
    Ram:1*6 Corsair Dominator 1600mhz
    GPU:Asus EN GTX295
    HD's:Maxtor 320Gb / Hitachi 160Gb / Seagate Barracuda 1.5Tb
    Sound:Auzentech X-Fi Forte 7.1
    Mobo:Gigabyte EX-58 Extreme
    Case:CollerMaster Haff932
    PSU:Corsair TX850W

    SO:Windows 7 x64 Ultimate

    so please someone give me a hand im not getting where the problem is...

    hey xiterx try this do you have another video card you could put in to test if it might be yours failing, if not do you have onboard video pull the video card and hookup to the onboard video and see if you get the same problems.

    for now i think its solved.

    i was a firmware from seagate that was making the cache making itself full an then pc would stop for some time.

    now i have downloaded the new one and no problems for now at last
