Computer Problem

My computer is having problems.It turns on but it doesnt show anything on the screen.It makes like a long beep for 3 seconds than like a 2 beeps right after that and together the 2 beeps last .5 seconds.It just makes those sounds once and after that it doesnt do anything not even on the screen.I need this fixed someone plz help me.

Do you know what BIOS and its version that your motherboard has? The beeps your hear are error beeps and they can point to your issue.

IBM BIOS:
1 long, 2 short beeps Display adapter error (MDA/CGA)
1 long, 3 short beeps Display adapter error (EGA/VGA)
3 long beeps 3270 keyboard card

Award BIOS:
1 Long 2 Short Video Card Error - Either re-seat or replace video card
