Computer randomly shut down, won't boot back up

  1. I was on the internet, and talking to a friend on skype when my computer just shut off. When i tried to power it back on it did not respond, i unplugged the power supply, and replugged it, and when i tried to turn it back on i see the fans rotate a little, the the computer shuts back off. it is not even booting up. please help me.

    the computer is a custom built computer that i built about 2 months ago. it was my first build.
    intell core i7 2600k processor
    asus p8p67 pro (REV 3.0) motherboard
    8 gb of ddr3 ram

    Try installing another power supply. The motherboard may be overheating...
