Computer rebooting. Event Viewer says: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck

  1. I saw another user had this same issue and have learned from that I need to analyze the Event Viewer and then look at the .dmp files to acertain the posible cause of this XP server rebooting a few times a day without warning.

    I have attached the .dmp file here (I cannot get windows to read it).

    Can anyone analyze it to see what may be the cause?

    The minidumps are flagging iaStor.sys and tcpip.sys. Is XP fully udated to Service Pack 3 and beyond?

    I found out that it was iastor.sys causing the issue by using WhoCrashed software to read the .dmp files:

    resplendence.com/whocrashed

    I then went to the Intel website and got some updated drivers from them.

    No issues so far! Thanks for the reply though :)

    So did I... So is XP fully updated to Service Pack 3?

    There are a lot more updates available even after SP3... still confused?
