View and modify Application rules on the Applications tab under the Network Security section.

To edit the settings for an application rule
1 Click Network Security; then, the Applications tab.
2 Select an application from the list; then, click Edit. The Connection Settings dialog box
opens. The name of the application is displayed at the top of the box. The icon and full path to
the application executable file is listed below the name.

if you ever need to configure ZA, just doubleclick it from system tray, click on program control -> programs tab in top right corner

Then you just click the X and checks to change them where you want

You're welcome. I was having a slow day so had time to look up the processes. Don't forget to have AVG remove those MRUs.

?????????

No one helping anymore? :( My computer is still slow and another ruddy adaware popup came through. AVG 8.0 found loads of spyware and several trojans, it classed them as not being serious??? AVG 7.5 found none of these

What help is it you want? I don't understand why this is still happening- "AVG 8.0 found loads of spyware and several trojans, it classed them as not being serious??? AVG 7.5 found none of these"

Apparently you're not aware that AVG v7.5 is only an antivirus program, while AVG v8 has both antivirus AND spyware! That's why v8 came up with the spyware. As for the Trojans, are you updating AVG regularly?

???

Well for some reason no one is helping. I was told we were going to sort out something and then sort out the fact my system restore is infected then no reply? Would you like a new hjt?

Run CCleaner on your drive (removing all temp files)

Clear system restore points

  • Clear your existing system restore points and establish a new clean restore point:
    • Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore
    • Select Create a restore point, and Ok it.
    • Next, go to Start > Run and type in cleanmgr
    • Select the More options tab
    • Choose the option to clean up system restore and OK it.
This will remove all restore points except the new one you just created.

Download and Run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.
  • Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
  • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to:
    • Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
    • Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • Then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.

:O

I downloaded AVG 8.0 the other day and it has found hundreds of spyware, malware and some trojans. No other scanner has found these problems. Is AVG in beta or something and just thinking this lot is on here. Help?! Please

Since you are having the same problem on another system:
https://www.techspot.com/vb/topic106593.html

I think you need to take a look at how you surf, what your security settings are, what security programs you have and how to use the programs. It does no good to continue helping you find and remove malware if you go right out and get malware infections again. There are many reasons for a slow or "sluggish" computer and malware is only one of them.
