You don't appear to have any problems, according to the HiJack log. It actually looks very clean.
What is the model and age of this Dell. Pull the case and give us the brand and model of the hard drive.
From this, we can tell a bit about whether it is on its way to failure.
This problem occurs most frequently with the Dell 2350 on up to the 3000, and with Western Digital and Samsung drives. Could also be memory if you have 512 MB or less.
Are you running separate security installs on top of the AOL security? That also can be a problem.

Thanks for the prompt response. As for the PC itself. Its an older model Dimension 3000, (2004 I believe) but it does not have much use on it yet. I had used it for about 6mths as a 2nd PC, but then stored it away and used another PC. I just recently started using it again. I didnt pull it apart yet, mostly because Im afraid of screwing something up. But I will if necessary.
As for the memory, I could see where that would be a problem, because it stil has its original memory (512 I believe). I had seriously thought of adding to it, but that brings me to another question. Are other types of memory compatibile with it? Specs are below:
    DDR SDRAM 333MHz PC3200 DIMM 184-pin
Ive seen some pretty good deals out there on memory, but Im sure its a more-advanced memory than what this PC is using. I just wondered what types Id be safe to use with it.
As for security installs....Im not sure exactly what youre looking for there. So, please either explain or give me some examples and I'll do my best to search them out.
    Thanks again.

The Dell Dimension 3000 is one of the Dell Basic Home models. It is in the same league with the 2250, 2300, 2350, 2400 and 2450 as well as the Optiplex 170L and 170XL.
They all use the same motherboard.
They all have high failure rates of the board, and also have very easily broken "clamp downs" for attaching the CPU to the heatsink and fan. Break very easily, and cost $15 to replace.

    Fix these with Hijackthis

Delete this folder if it exist:
    C:\Program Files\MyWaySA

    I don't see a firewall on there

    ---------------------

I would run an anti-spyware program just to be safe you can always remove it afterwards if it doesn't find anything
