Computer won't boot, displays checksum error

  1. My PC won't boot on being switched on......it won't display anything on monitor and the LEDs on keyboard won't blink(they normally blink once on being switched on). Sometimes when i am lucky it would start(with a checksum error) when i press the reset button after keeping the cPU switched on for like 4-6 hrs.

I have already replaced the mobo battery with new one and i am still facing the problem.

Any idea how to fix it?

Like I said I am able to run it after like keeping the cpu powered on and then pressing the reset button after 4-5 hours. I am the currently using the pc with reset trick. It can't be dying hd. I also tried refitting the memory.
