I have a windows xp professional computer that everytime i start it, it doesnt boot into windows. the only way i can see my files is through kinoppix. When i start up i get the following error code:

    Stop:c000021a (fatal system error)
The windows logon process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000005.

I was thinking of repairing it with a windows xp cd. What should i do?

Check, or swap out the memory. If you have more than 1 memory module installed, remove one and try booting. Swap the memory positions and try booting

Take the computer to someone that repairs computers and tell them what I told you to do. Your computer may have other problems. You can try a XP repair, but if the repair fails or won't start, the computer will have to be repaired anyway
