Computer won't start up

    hi
    I built a new computer with the help of my brother last september.Tonite I decided to move it up to my room,when I had everything in my room I plugged everything in and it would'nt start up,there no lights or noise out of it,any ideas what could be wrong?and it was working fine all today I just dont understand what is wrong.

    any help and advice is appreciated.

    nope thats not mine,could it be the powersupply do you think?maybe need a new one?

    Have you checked the fans? power supply, processor etc, are they turning?

    a very useful tool to have is a power supply tester, you can get them pretty cheap, just plug it into to the power supply and it lights up and beeps if the power supply is ok.
