i contacted hp we went thru a few things but nothing worked

You need to reflash your BIOS. Check with the HP support web site for details on how to do this (I presume you have another computer to do this on.)

i checked with the hp web site
and it told me about the bios flash on how to flas my bios
all you do is start your computer makeing sur you
press the f10 key as you please your start button conttinously
for xp its f1 when the blue screen appears you go and press
f5 which will take you into the bios set up
oh theres another thing it doesnt usely happen over night

That information doesn't sound exactly correct
ie The BIOS has really nothing to do with Windows to actually POST

It may be best for you to "chat" with HP by going to this thread: https://www.techspot.com/vb/topic100655.html
And selecting "Interact online with HP"

Confirm that you have the correct BIOS Rom (they should provide a direct link)
Then confirm the actual steps, which keys etc. They'll probably direct you to the exact info page you need for your system.

Please continue to update this thread with the results
