Confused about DVI and DVI-D

I recently received an AOC e2243Fwk LED Monitor and it has a DVI Connection, so does my graphic card which is a GeForce 8400GS DDR2 512MB PCI from PNY Technologies and I would like to use a DVI Cable, but I have seen two kind of DVI cables and before I order anything from Amazon I would like to make sure which one I should get.

If anyone could link me to a good DVI Cable that will work with my monitor and graphic card, I would appreciate it very much.

they seem to be exactly the same, just a different name but you only need a DVI cable for the graphics and monitor

The ones with gold plate are better than silver plates, or what's the difference?
