I have a Compaq Presario S6300NX and I have downloaded the manual to see if I can read up on installing an Aftermarket fan, to blow OUT the hot air accumilating inside the box. I have the fan, and have connected the connectors to the "CHA Fan" connector on the Motherboard.. I turned back on the PC only to find the fan never turned on at all.

I'm confused, and I have no clue where else to connect this Fan (as I can only see 1 spot, CHA Fan to connect to).

    Any ideas?

Nevermind, lol.. The black wire on the Fan Unit wasn't connected, it works great now. Does anyone know what normal PC temperatures are?

Depends on what your using, and laptops tend to be a bit more toasty than desktops.

    General temperatures for laptops:

    ? - 29, Low
    30 - 59, Normal
    60 - 69, Getting warm
70 - 79, Might want to do somthing about this
    80 - ?, It burns!

Some will even operate at 80 Celsius normally, which is hot and maybe trying to do something about this would be in your best of interest but it will still operate just fine.
