  1. Hi,

I have two Desktop PC which each have an ethernet card. I would like to connect both of them and to make a LAN without going though a hub or router. Just connect them directly. Is this possible?

    Thanks for any helps

You want to buy a Ethernet Crossover Cable whch is then used to connect the two comnputers simpy by pluging each end into the Ethernet Cable slot on each machine

Yeah that would be nice but i would like to know if I will be able to make a LAN with it. Also I would like to know if I will be able to share printer, files, internet connection, etc... same as a normal LAN by hub or router?
