Connecting Sata DVD rom to PCI

My MB is the ASUS M2N MXSE. It has only two Sata ports. When i brought my computer, I installed a Samsung Sata HDD 160 GB and a Samsung Sata based DVD Rom drive. Now, i want to install a SATA 250 GB HDD but there are no ports left. In hindsight, i should have installed an IDD based DVD rom drive. Now, what options do i have? Should i discard the Sata based DVD Rom drive, and replace it with an IDD based one, or should i buy a SATA port. I am a newbie, and i dunno how the latter works. Will it be compatible with my MB. Which is the cheaper alternative?

As you don't tell us where you are I cannot suggest a supplier for you.
