Conroe E6600 vs X6800

  1. Besides the the difference in speed is there any different architecture between the two ? I know its the same core but is there more transistors in the X6800 than the E6600 ect ect ?

    If there isnt a difference, technically if I OC the E6600 to 2.95 ghz it should have almost identical benchmarks to a X6800 right ?

    They seem to be identical in every way except the X6800 uses a little more power than the E6600.

    I believe that the X6800 is "supposed" to be more overclockable. Otherwise, basically the same.
