Considering firewalls

    whats the best firewall to use guys ? is it the Zone alrm or should i try another one ? i just got tired of the popping alarm every few minutes ,, so - what do u recmmend ?

    In terms of security Zone Alarm is the best, but the new Norton Internet Security 2009 has a pretty handy firewall with almost no pop-ups.

    Zonealarm and comodo are recommended here at TS.

    Popups are a different subject than a Firewall per se.

    Popups originate from within your browser and the the websites you visit plant these things. Other tools would help here, but not the Firewall.

    A Firewall controls communications between two systems by monitoring the IP addresses and Ports (which popups don't create directly).
